Prepare for your upcoming Algebra course.

Students get ready for their school-year Algebra class in an efficient online format. Block scheduling allows students to take the course at a convenient time, and there is enough time between class meetings for students to work on additional practice assignments. Classes are synchronous, so students can work with their peers and instructor easily during the class.

During each lesson, the instructor presents the topic and guides students through practice problems before having students work through material on their own or in small groups.

Students cover the following topics in the course:

  1. Evaluating Expressions
  2. Language of Algebra
  3. Solving Equations and Systems
  4. Relations and Functions
  5. Graphing and Writing Linear Equations
  6. Exponents
  7. Operations on Polynomials
  8. Factoring/Solving Quadratic Equations

Homework assignments throughout the course allow students to practice their skills at home and see further improvement in their abilities.

All classes are held online via Zoom. See our Virginia Algebra page for information about our in-person summer prep course for Algebra.
